RenoScreed® Energy-saving refurbishment system

PRODUCTS

RenoScreed is considered one of the best renovation screeds because it is significantly thinner (up to 35%) and lighter than standard screeds, making it ideal for older buildings with weight restrictions. It dries in a fraction of the time, minimizes cracking, and is optimized for underfloor heating to significantly reduce energy costs.

Extremely Thin & Lightweight: Up to 35% thinner than standard screeds, reducing structural load while allowing for better supplementary heat and sound insulation in tight spaces.

Energy-Efficient: Designed specifically to work with modern underfloor heating and cooling systems. Its thin profile allows it to heat up much faster and run at lower flow temperatures, saving on heating bills.

Ultra-Fast Drying: Traditional screeds can take up to 56 days to dry. RenoScreed drastically reduces this timeline, heavily accelerating renovation projects and allowing floor coverings to be laid much sooner.

Highly Durable: It is a plastic-modified and steel-fiber-reinforced cementitious screed, making it highly resistant to shrinkage, cracking, and structural vibrations.

Health & Environmentally Conscious: Its thinness makes installation physically easier for workers. It is also non-toxic, diffusion-open (helps prevent mold and fungi), and fully recyclable.

ARDEX A 35

Rapid Setting and Ultra Rapid Drying Cement for Internal Floor Screeds

Traditional sand/cement screeds can take months to dry, but an ARDEX A 35 screed can receive floor coverings after only 24 hours, regardless of thickness. After only 1 day the compressive strength and tensile bending strength of an ARDEX A 35 screed exceeds the acceptable minimum attained by an ordinary cement screed after 28 days. ARDEX A 35 can be used to produce a bonded screed, unbonded floor screed laid onto a membrane, or floating floor screed laid onto a compressive quilt/insulating material.

  • Walk on after 3 hours
  • Receives floor coverings, including ceramic tiles, after 24 hours regardless of thickness
  • Receives resilient and textile floor coverings after 4 hours when smoothed with ARDEX A 55
  • Test with a BRE Screed Tester after only 6 hours
  • Can be used with underfloor heating systems

ARDEX A 38

Rapid Hardening and Drying Cement for Floor Screeds in Internal or External Locations

Traditional sand/cement screeds can take months to dry, but an ARDEX A 38 screed can receive tiles after only 4 hours, regardless of thickness, to produce a bonded, unbonded or floating floor screed.

  • Walk on after 3 hours
  • Receives ceramic and natural stone tiles directly after only 4 hours for bonded, unbonded and floating screeds
  • Receives resilient, wood finishes and vinyl floor coverings after 48 hours
  • For internal and external use, including wet and submerged areas
  • Test with a BRE Screed Tester after only 24 hours
