Why traditional screed is better
Sand and cement screed is a traditional, highly durable floor screeding system used to create strong, level, and load-bearing substrates across residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
Unlike self-levelling or liquid screeds, sand and cement screed is ideal for thicker applications, structural build-ups, wet areas, and projects requiring higher compressive strength. It is commonly used in bathrooms, balconies, garages, swimming pools, commercial buildings, warehouses, and new construction projects where durability is critical.
Whether you require a bonded, unbonded, or floating sand and cement screed, we have the solution for you.

Screeds Types of screed
BONDED SCREED
The screed is bonded directly onto the substrate by applying a bonding agent or primer.
UNBONDED SCREED
The screed is not bonded directly to the substrate but poured or tapped over a polythene membrane on top of the subfloor.
FLOATING SCREED
A floating screed is poured or tapped over a layer of insulation, with a slip membrane separating the screed from the insulation.
FLOATING SCREED + Underfloor Heating
The screed is tapped or poured over an underfloor heating system, which sits on top of a layer of insulation.
